Should I bring my make-up with me?
If you would like to match the color of your lipstick and brow or eyeliner pencil, you are more than welcome to bring your make-up with you to your procedure.

Does the procedure hurt?
Everyone has a different tolerances to pain. Topical anesthetics are now available, which are applied to the area being treated. The area becomes numb and most clients usually experience little or no discomfort during the procedure.

How long does the procedure take?
The first visit usually takes between an hour and a half to two hours. Touch-up visits, which are needed after six to eight weeks after the initial visit, take about one hour.

Will I look good right away? Do I need to take time off from work?
You can resume normal activities immediately. Clients experience very little swelling or discoloration, if any.

Will the pigment fade after the first application?
It might, however this is normal. A second or even third follow-up visit are necessary (follow-up visits are included in the fee) six to eight weeks after the last procedure.

What do I need to do after the procedure?
You will be given post-procedure instructions at the end of your visit. Not following the instructions may result in the pigment lifting, premature fading or even scaring.

May I be allergic to the pigments?
Extensive research and testing have been done by the medical and cosmetic industry's to develop non-reactive pigments. It is extremely rare to be allergic to the pigments. Permanent Cosmetics uses high quality pigments and have never experienced a case where a client has experienced an allergic reaction to the permanent make-up.

Can I wear other cosmetics with permanent make-up?
Of course! You can wear any make-up that you desire, as long as the pigmented area is completely healed.

How long will the application last?
Once the pigment has been deposited in the dermal layer of your skin, pigment will always be there, even if the sun or other factors bleach it out. You will need a color touch-up in a few years to bring the brightness back to the existing color, especially to your lips and brows.
